As part of this, House offers piece-of-mind product guarantees. They are as follows:

  • If you change your mind or make an incorrect choice, we will give you a refund (excluding postage costs) within 30 days of purchase for unused products (returned in its original packaging).
  • If your item arrives damaged, we will arrange a replacement or full refund at our cost.
  • If your item develops a fault after delivery, we will assess your claim and offer a replacement, full refund or other remedy where appropriate.

How do I return an item?

Step 1:

Contact our Customer Service team on 1300 136 936 or email them at info@house.com.au. and they will take you through the steps. When contacting our team please have your order number and corresponding email address ready so we can locate your order in our system.

Please be aware, our team may request a photo of the item if it’s a damage or faulty claim. This is so our team can examine the extent of the damage.

Step 2:

If the refund is approved, you will be provided a “Return Authorisation Number”. This number must be placed on the packaging of the returned item. Please note that the item must be returned within 30 days of receiving your Return Authorisation Number.

We cannot accept returns in-store for change of mind returns or products purchased through the site.

Step 3:

When sending the item back, the item must be in its original packaging.

Step 4:

Once the packaged is received by our team, our team will assess the item and notify you of confirmation of refund or store credit.

All refunds will be deposited in the same method that was used when the item was purchased.
